Intro to Star Wars

Tyler told us the other day that he wanted "to watch the movie Star Wars like his friend Jet." So this morning was Tyler's first experience with a Star Wars movie. He loved it and here are his two big "takeaways" from the movie:

1. "Darth Vader sounds like a Deceptacon."
2. "Luke has the blue light sword and Darth Vader has a red light sword."

House Decorations

As soon as I walked in the door today, Tyler came running up to me and said, "Dad! Dad! Guess what?! We decorated the house for Easter today!"

Tyler's Wish

After I turned off the light to put Tyler to bed last night, right before I left the room, Tyler sighed and said:

"Dad, I wish that you could be an Autobot like Tyler, Mom and Rigby."

Ha, hopefully I can reach "Autobot" status like the rest of my family soon.

An Evening Swim

After I swam in a relay at Queen Creek pool tonight Tyler said: "Dad, I didn't think you knew how to swim in the big pool."

The Art of "Transforming"

Brothers or Enemies?

Perhaps foreshadowing many future "battles" in our house....

Tyler: I am the fastest and strongest Autobot.
Me: Is Rigby a transformer too?
Tyler: Yeah, but he is a Deceptacon.
