Gingerbread Drama

Tyler was very excited to make gingerbread houses at his playgroup today. When Kristin picked him up, he couldn't wait to take a picture to send to the family:

Moments later, after a freak stroller and balancing accident... Tyler's smile changed (as did the construction of the gingerbread house):

Luckily, Kristin acted quickly and was able to restore the gingerbread to it's original form - which also restored Tyler's smile:

Tyler couldn't wait to eat the gingerbread house after dinner...and he ate the whole thing :).

Tonight Kristin and I were catching up on watching "The X Factor." One of the contestants sang "Man In the Mirror" by Michael Jackson (which also is also the ring tone on Kristin's cell phone, so Tyler knows the song well). Here is how the conversation went:

Tyler: That is Michael Jackson's song. Mom, where is Michael Jackson?
Kristin: Um, actually Tyler, Michael Jackson died.
Tyler: He died?! But where is he?!
Me: Tyler, that means that he is in heaven now.
Tyler: But Dad, Michael Jackson CAN'T die.

Truer words have never been spoken. Tyler is wise beyond his years. That's my boy. :)
