Thank You Primay Teachers!

After a “father and son” teaching moment today:

Me: Tyler I am sorry that I hurt your feelings

Tyler: It is ok dad, just don’t do it again.

Tyler ran off to play.

Five minutes later Tyler comes back:

Tyler: Dad, thanks for saying sorry and Tyler forgives you.

Me: Thanks Tyler – and who taught you those words?

Tyler: My primary teachers.

As a parent this is awesome on several levels: First, Tyler knows what it means to forgive someone. Second, he really listens to his primary teachers on Sunday. Yay!
